• Make sure you are updated to the newest version of Force5. Go to >Help>Check for an update> follow prompts for updating.
• To insert the date on the signature line VAS “Attending Surveyor,”  type in the edit window at the end of the Name line the curly bracket and the word all caps {DATE} shown below.

It should look like this in the report:

As you can see it will work even if you are using the scanned signature JPG file in the Photo editor.

Let us know if you have any trouble getting this to work.  Kyle wanted me to let you know that you can use this {DATE} statement anywhere in Force5 that you need to insert the current date.
